i've ended up with this advert open on two windows, one with this.

rebuilt with 83mm 12.6:1 compression Forged pistons,
ACL bearings,

an a side note, oil pump faliure leading to a new engine? might be worth checking that oil pressure gauge too?
i can't help with the rates, but when my coilovers were built they used the axle weights to calculate them.
could faulkners not do the same?
out of interest, what does he want mega stiff springs for?
the other rs clio's have a different set up, i'm not completely sure how it works but i remember having a discussion about it with either yozza or k-tec.

Had the guys at Rent4Ring.de set up my KW V2 for the 'Ring, and raised the front 10mm. Handling is much better as a result, was hitting the bump stops too much before the change. Ride height is now about 25mm lower than standard at the front, 30mm lower than standard at the back.
