yeah mate, sounds like it needs a bit of a claying. give it a good wash then clay it whilst it is wet. dry it off, polish it up then give it a few coats of wax to protect it and then you will feel the smoothness.
there is a very good dodo juice advert on the back of the latest pfc mag and it has loads of questions and answers. has answerd loads of my questions so is well worth a read if you have a copy or if you spot it on the shelf in the shops.

decat went on today woohoo (finally lol)
opened it up a little on the way home and normal driving there isnt a difference really just throttle responce is a bit better but when you open it up, its alot smoother and dosent feel like its being held back if you know what i mean. no...

depends what you want mate. if yoy are after a stiffer ride but still want it to be relitivley comfortable, id go for the springs but if you are after a rock solid ride that will handle brilliantly and you are going to use it on track days and things like that then go for the coilies.
what tends to need replacing when you are doing this. thinking of having a go at work tommorow but dont want to be un prepeared so do i need to replace any nuts, bolts and gaskets?

if you look in one of the doors there is a sticker on the b post with an oval circle on it. the paint code is in there and i think it is nv676 if i remmember correctly
