I love the photoshopped pictures they put in some of the car magazines of shield. doesn't take much to see it's fake but have seen guys amazed by the adverts.
be interested to know how it actually performs
UC with hex orange should be a pretty agressive combo, would hope to see some decent improvement even.
Have a look through youtube for jumkmans videos, and there are some demonstrating the carpro fixer polish that is pretty good for giving you an idea on speeds, movement, pressures and working...
Clay mitt is far quicker to use, still need to be just as cautious, probably more so with the risk of marring. Doesn't remove quite as much as the equivalent clay bar would but doesn't leave much behind. the CG mitt was £35 in the group buy but well worth it imo
Revitalise 3 should have more cut than tough prep or rejuvenate, but depends on the level of cut needed to remove swirls or marring or buffer trails left after the previous passes.
Rejuvenate and tough prep are both pre cleansers, meant for deep cleaning the paint and laying down suitable oils, filmers, polymers etc to set a good base for either a wax or sealant.
Rejuvenate is ideal for waxes
Tough prep for sealants
Wash with fairy liquid, IPA or eraser wipe down, then top with sonax polymer net shield or brilliant shine detailer and see how you get on then.
Keep CQ AS a base and use a better performing sacrificial layer over the top
MatthewR, maybe look at something like the sonax range. Polymer net shield seems to have water behaviour and self cleaning abilities of EXO and claimed 6months +
Or just look at a durable but easy wax or sealant and top up when you can with hydr02 or Gyeon wetcoat, just don't let JD show you...
Migliore strata nano coating is very cheap on a group buy over on detailing world. gally worth it you think as I can only think of you that has used it? I'm very tempted although still not had a chance to apply nanolex ultra

I did read something like this happening where Hydr02 wasn't completely rinsed off the panel after application.
JD user error lol. Payback for ribbing cliotoby for his smearing C2
I'd try applying to a single panel and rinsing to see if additional product may break down the dried residue left
No benefit really in terms of the performance of the wax other than removing some paint defects like marring or swirls hopefully creating a better finish. Rejuvenate will provide a clean base for the wax
rejuvenate will remove the majority of waxes and sealants including any base products underneath them such as tripple, leaving it's own mild base ready for waxing over.
noticed that CQUK has been updated and a few places selling off the old version slightly cheaper, i4detailing and elitecarcare for example.
tempted to try reset, but already have far too many to get another. I'm still liking lather, moved onto the new version after getting through 5litres of V1
tough coat with desire over the top resisted bonded contaminants for quite a while when I tried it although water behaviour didnt last any longer. I stripped it back after 6months and all it required was a quick wipe down with rejunate again ready to re wax, no need for deconamination.
Was most...
Where in essex are you?

Its a glass coating that should resist for a couple of years at least before any weathering or degrading will start again.
Can't think of a kit but would just suggest paying for good quality sand paper
If you can do them yourself, i have a little GTechniq C1/ C5 left that can be used to protect them properly.
The grabby feel when buffing off the wax is likely to be due to it needing a proper decon and clay. The rough surface is then picked up with the MF.
I've been using tripple and spirit quite a bit recently and it's a lovely combo. Anything that works with tripple is a winning combo in my eyes
