on a 1.2 engine. Once the engine has warmed up and you go over say 30mph the throttle 'locks' open and as you can imagine over-revs very noisily! Besides switching the engine off, the only way to sort it out is to lift the bonnet and give the throttle cable a bit of a yank so the throttle shuts...
set out today to replace my front brake discs. All was going hunky-dory till I came to the second torx 40 screw holding the disc to the hub. I couldn't, for love nor money, get the little fooker out!! The first one came straight out but the second wouldn't budge! Any ideas guys as I had...
What's the definitive way to tell if your car has ABS, without mentioning the obvious ;) Need to know for definite before I try to get hold of some new hubs. I've always assumed I've got ABS but how can you tell? Will Renaull know if I ring them with the reg number??
I've had the new discs for months now, but haven't got round to fitting them due to being unsure as to the torx size of the screw holding the disc to the hub. I've heard anything from tx20 to tx40 so can anyone say for definite what size they are and is there a Torque setting they need...

Right, I understand the offsets and how it's worked out/measured etc etc... My question is this, if you have some, say ET45 wheels and you add say 5mm spacers does this make the offset ET40 or ET50?? I was sure it was ET40 but I've just been thinking about it and talked myself out of it! lol! :S
Been a wee while since I posted on CS properly so thought I'd treat you all to some piccies of my cleaning efforts a few days ago, plus I wanted to show off my xenons! ;) :rasp:

I'm pleased to say, however that once again the Clio's EnCap rating has done it's job and she walked away with little more than a grazed arm :approve: :star:
Someone please help, I've tried everything i can think of but still, certain images on certain web pages appear as a red X! This isn't every pic on every website but just happens to the same pics over and over again...

Cheers :approve:
