Possibly new car :) To Rally

Ok, you know best, I rally myself so what the hell would I know. You might want to have a look here... http://www.msauk.org/site/cms/contentViewArticle.asp?article=2590 ... before you turn up at your first Nat B event though.

Possibly new car :) To Rally

need a non-race Nat B licence unless you're only competing on 12 cars or invited club clubman events ( he said it was road rallying he's going to do).

Possibly new car :) To Rally

I'd ditch the lowering springs and fit a sumpguard otherwise your sump will be trailing along the ground on some of the whites used by road rallies. You might find a decent set of spots more useful than an induction kit too, especially as you have to pass a noise test before (and sometime...

    Clio gets the arse out

Noooo that's not my car (too clean) and it's not me driving. It's an N3 spec (i.e. not very modified) car usually driven by Clare Samuel but on that event it was driven by Graham Samuel. Last weekend I spotted another Clio on a rally  and here's one of mine after a rather speedy...

    Goodwood Festival of Speed 2007

Andrew's car looks unusually clean and tidy there, it's normally covered in dirt with bits hanging off! He's just entered the Quinton rally in July if anyone wants to see the car ;)

    3 dead at TT

apart from the fact that the bikes go 200mph with the spectators at the road side and rally cars rarely go over 100mph (stage average speeds of the top cars are usually 60mph ish) and the spectators are generally in controlled safe zones. Yes some rally spectators go to other places but these...

Lancia Delta S4 Group B (in car)

Burton's current engine is based on the production 24V Cossie engine that was in the Ford Scorpio, the engine he used last year was from an Opel DTM car... it's the body panels that are from the ice-racing car ;) I should've taken some pics, my Clio was parked next to the Pug Cos at his...

Clio goes to Isle of Man

Definitely, it took us less time to get back on the A and B roads than it did getting there by the motorway :o The forests aren't too bad either! My passenger did the rally in the Peugeot Cosworth, finished second overall :race:

I was parked in front of a Clio on stage one on the Friday night and then saw the same car again parked up near the start of the first Kershope stage on that nice bit of twisty road :) Bloody hell does this mean I've finally been spotted
