When warm on an unchipped 172/cup the limiter should come in at 7250 in first (and maybe second) and 7000 in all other gears, and when cold it should be 6750 & 6500 respectively.
BUT remember that this is controlled by the oil temp not the coolant temp, the coolant may warm up v.quickly but...

Hi guys, ok noticed that the inside edge of the fronts is getting very badly worn, so popped down the local kwikfit and the guy (who owns a williams 3) said that it was seized and this was normal thing to go wrong and a bit of a bugger to put right, and it wasnt the sort of thing they could...

Kelly - did they contact Trev at HighPower (wizards of nos)? as Im sure he would have corrected any problems with the supplied parts, Ive heard nothing but praise for their kits, so Im shocked to here youve had a problem.....
monkeymagic - Eagle f1s are a fantastic tyre, try running at 34/32 and see how that reacts, but the contis were poo, and I changed after 600 miles LoL
Ive gotta say, the contis in the wet were SH*TE, but the eagle f1s are fab, esp round Bedford in the wet, so you aint made a bad choice, just...

Well, heres the update guys, the car is looking better than I thought it would, and Im pretty happy all in all, but its looking like it may not make York - but Id rather get it right than do it fast.
Weve ordered a new slim radiator fan because the standard one gets in the way, and weve...
Then only reason why youd want to run an extra injector is if your oxygen input has increased (as in Nitrous Oxide injection or some kind of forced induction which cant be mapped or has reached the standard injector limits etc), otherwise as weight says youll just overfuel and slow down LoL
Can we split it into N/A and forced induction, as you really cant compare them in this sort of way, turbo - once converted is fairly easy to get more power out of, where as us N/A guys have to squeeze everything to get a few more lb/ft and bhp.
Flying Scotsman - youre right, there isnt a gap, I should know, my car hasnt got a slam panel on it now at all LoL (but only whilst the tbs are being fitted)
