Saw a MK2 172 in silver with what looked like dark alloys, reg plate YB** BYZ speeding along the M1, think it came off at Wakefield.
Im sure it had a big cliosport sticker in the back window...

oh yeah, and both the immobilisers still work on their own, even if you have the reno key in the ignition, if you aint disarmed the toad immobiliser, it wont start - thats with the ai606 anyway.
youll get another fob with the toad, that works the central locking & arms the alarm, with the reno key the central locking will still work, but it wont activate the toad alarm (so not much point using it)..

it used to be 10w 40, but they changed it to fully synthetic 5w 40, so to be safe, do a full oil change, then if it gets low again, you know what to top it up with.. oil & filter are about £35
Wheres BenR when you need him. SMT6 is a piggy back chip.. bullies the Renault ECU a bit to get more power.
Dont know much about the inlet manifold Im afraid, specialists take them off, regrind them and make sure they match up perfectly with summat else in your engine... cant go into anymore...

Renault in Wakefield seem to offer good service.. dont know of the price though, mine was changed under warranty..
My door seal leaked for a while too. But it was marking the roof lining over the door near the windscreen. Since i took the seal off and poured in some silicon sealant, it seems to have done the trick... for now anyway.
I had kumho ecsta on the front, then changed them to uniroyal rainsport after 2 months - well just say they werent good in the wet - lots of slipping and sliding.. good in the dry though..
