Saw a MK2 172 in silver with what looked like dark alloys, reg plate YB** BYZ speeding along the M1, think it came off at Wakefield. Im sure it had a big cliosport sticker in the back window... anybody???

I think theyd look ok if you sprayed the bump strips to be silver...

oh yeah, and both the immobilisers still work on their own, even if you have the reno key in the ignition, if you aint disarmed the toad immobiliser, it wont start - thats with the ai606 anyway.

youll get another fob with the toad, that works the central locking & arms the alarm, with the reno key the central locking will still work, but it wont activate the toad alarm (so not much point using it).. hope that helps..

i think "Fred2001Dynamic" should work for RenaultSport, Clio RS b**ch... quality!

I put on a toad ai606 on my import and it works fine with renaults immobiliser...

go for 3) and get it hidden... stealth ones take less cleaning!

it used to be 10w 40, but they changed it to fully synthetic 5w 40, so to be safe, do a full oil change, then if it gets low again, you know what to top it up with.. oil & filter are about £35

Wheres BenR when you need him. SMT6 is a piggy back chip.. bullies the Renault ECU a bit to get more power. Dont know much about the inlet manifold Im afraid, specialists take them off, regrind them and make sure they match up perfectly with summat else in your engine... cant go into anymore...

the smt6 added the most power for my engine, it just got the car running right. But it works best if you have the other mods done first.

check the dipstick in the engine to confirm how much oil its eaten.

exhaust, decat, inlet manifold and smt6, will, depending upon the engine add in the region of 15 to 20bhp.

if your after "fitment, quality and noise", your better off getting a custom made jobby. Then you can make it to your spec.

if you live near barnsley where it fkin rains most of the year.. uniroyal rainsport are the ones to have.

My door seal leaked for a while too. But it was marking the roof lining over the door near the windscreen. Since i took the seal off and poured in some silicon sealant, it seems to have done the trick... for now anyway.

fkin hell - i thought hed lost it in that 2nd clip... good bit of jockeying.

I had kumho ecsta on the front, then changed them to uniroyal rainsport after 2 months - well just say they werent good in the wet - lots of slipping and sliding.. good in the dry though..

I have a Toad alarm on my import 172, works well and hasnt let me down yet...
