    City powder coating

A few months down the line, what are people's thoughts on citypowdercoating? They're still offering their almost unbelievable price of £20 per wheel, and while you get what you pay for I'm finding this offer difficult to ignore.

Not allowed back iirc, not that that will stop you - they always come back (multiple times) ;)

BG182 - Now with added silver

This is a great car, and one I feel I 'know' given the amount you've put into recording it's progress, I like it a lot, however, the silver wheels don't work for me. The Turinis are great (of course ;)) but if I had some spare cash I'd be tempted to get them powder-coated red to match the...

Gaz Coilovers... I'll Need a Mortgage

OP - if you register on here it opens up opportunities for potential discounts at places like Demon Tweeks, so get it done, and continue your research!

Setting myself up for abuse here:

Could have trimmed the grass a little - looks a bit odd like that. Would like to see it on flat ground but think it looks smart. Ruined a Trophy? It's only a car, who gives a f**k?!

BT Broadband - any reason not to?

    Thanks all, appreciate the comments!

BT Broadband - any reason not to?

I appreciate what you're saying but BT Sport is swaying me, but the main consideration is the £130 fee I'd have to pay if I went with Sky. I figure I'll go with BT and if it's not up to scratch then I can switch after 12 months.

BT Broadband - any reason not to?

We don't have broadband at home, nor do we have a fixed line at all, although there must have been one there once. We do have Sky but only for TV. I'm thinking about getting BT's most basic broadband package - 10GB per month for £10 (+ £15.45 line rental) - plus £40 Sainsbury's gift card & BT...

Lawro's Super Clean Titanium 182 - Progress Thread

Having seen this at Combe this weekend I can vouch for how immaculate it is, it's a testament to your efforts, Lawro, great work! However, do you have any plans for the centre caps, as for me they attract unnecessary attention and stand out like a sore thumb.

    Whistling from door

The hole under the wing mirror causes a whistling, doesn't it? It's where the temperature gauge is on the passenger side, but on the driver's side it's just en empty hole. Not sure why it would have just started for you now, though, maybe it's always been there but you've only just started to...

    Best Clio Ever

This annoys the hell out of me, and I blame this forum for the fact that I now start every sentence I speak with the word, "so". As for the best Clio ever, it's too subjective and all you'll get is people stating opinions. If that's what you want then I'm going to say a 1.2 Billabong.

Forge Action Day - Castle Combe 14/9/13

I like the CS stand and all the rears nicely lined up (except Lawro's). Good pics Nick

    Three Signal

The best thing to do is go to each company's website and use their signal-checker tool to ensure they have good coverage in the area where you spend the most time / need your phone most. If it's all much of a muchness then check out Vodafone as their 4G service is being rolled out across the UK...

    Yokohama AD08R's

Bought mine a month or so ago and can't wait to get them on the car, I've heard positive reviews but it's such a subjective thing. I'm sure if you do go for them you won't be disappointed, and the same will be true of any decent competitor.

I'm having a few issues with the car - currently at MWM being worked on :( Bit of a long shot but is anyone going via Newbury on the way there & back and could offer me a lift? If not, my place will be up for grabs.

Anyone any good with sound systems?

It probably depends on how loud you have your music turned up and what the ambient noise levels are like.

Is Trophy really much better than 182 FF with CUP packs?

It's not the safest way of doing it though, is it? Isn't the angle far too great and will result in spine compression in an accident?
