General consensus is that you should go for 16.5cm components - there's a few good guides on how to fit them in the doors. Do it, it'll be well worth the improvement in sound quality & depth.

Thanks Rob, for making me feel shockingly old! Can't wait for some of the pensioners to get into this thread.

I've just bought some 20mm FK bolt-to-hub hubcentrics for the front, and I'll be getting some 10mm hub spacers for the rear (no camber). If it does rub or I'm not happy with the change to the handling characteristics then I'll try something different or just take them off and move them on.
What's the minimum number of cars needed to make this a viable option? I see lots of people expressing an interest, which is superb, but as Daniel has already said, expect no more than 20% of those to actually make it to the grid.
Having owned a Trophy it was clear once you started on the Mini path you'd end up in a GP. Really interested to hear how you get on with it, and a comparison to the T would be nice too.
Good effort, Dave.
Well done James, it must be such a rewarding feeling after all the effort (and £s) you've put into the car over the winter. Congratulations - bask in your glory & enjoy it!
I quite like it Austin, but I do wonder whether it will result in a fine.
I'm in the market for a plate (next auction hopefully), and if I get it I'll be illegally spacing too, just because I want to.
Keep us posted whether you get any bother from your local BiB.
Can you stop posting pictures of your car on Cooksports, at least until their stock is replenished and I get my hands on a set? ;)
Looks really lovely though mate, good effort.
