they are usually similarly priced to the Speedlines.
i ran the TH3's in 15's on my old 182. Were a good wheel, with loads of brake clearence, and the design was to aid brake cooling.
people say glad no one got hurt etc.... i say shame alot didnt get hurt!! bunch of chav shites.
maybe teach them that standing around in car parks watching idiots donut thier shite lookin WRX is not cool!!!
nice!!
heat gun and paint scraper on the sound deadening shofts it pretty well!
as for the colour scheme..... white with black rims... sounds a bit suspect to me! :D
cheers guys!
yeah there were a few spots wehre paint was a bit thin, but got them sorted.
note to self.... get it sprayed outside the car next time and just touch in the welded area's!!
:D
ok, time for a bit of an update....
As you can see cage needed a spot of paint. I was going to get this done professionally, but seeing as i work for a car paint supplier i thought i would give it a go myself.
ok, first thing first was to get the sound deadening out. Heat gun and scraper...
depends if you have the tools, skills, facilities and time to repair a damaged one.
Plus you need the ability to survay what a car needs doing before you part with your cash.
If your not 100% confident with all of the above, then i would wait, save and buy a 'decent' one.
more of being bitter and twisted at them for not holding up thier end of the deal.
but hey ho... we live and learn! its no wonder they went bust as TAS previously.
dont you have to run spacers with the OZ Ultraleggeras? As they dont do quite the right offset?
or am i talking complete arse?
Speedlines are good, looked at Compomotive too?
any sure fire way of stopping it sag too??
no matter how many times i adjust mine, clamp every thing super tight, its sags a week or two later.
i guess having only 1 mount on the rear box dont help.
in theory it should be cheaper, as you only have to buy the rotor, rather than a complete disc.
but i doubt there is much in it.
Weight loss is the main advantage.
Will be seeing how my Compbrakes fare in Time Attack, i have a feeling they may not be up to the job tho, which if that is...
