I had a set of 205 P Zero Nero's on my 172 and TBH I thought they were worse than the 195's I normally fit. Car does seem a lot more predictable on 195's and the wet weather grip is awesome on them.
As for traction control, I never used to use it when the car was normally aspirated, and now it's...
S20 CUP - Blue 172 cup being towed on a trailer.
R14 PLY - Ginger 182 cup with a blonde bird driving.
Flamer 172 - can't remember the reg.
All at around 18:50 I think.
Also spotted a Titanium 182 - S17 TVE which I followed up the M1.
I get loads of offers off people who would detail it for me but TBH I'm not really that arsed. It only gets dirty again so I don't see the point in making it too clean in the first place. A blast with the jet wash and a rub over with a sponge, then more jet washing, drying and polishing is all...
I did actually. Just hadn't read it yet and forgot about it. :S
Sounds good. I'll have to pay the local Polish guys to give it a clean so some decent pics can be taken.
Right... here's the deal...
If, and only if, I've finished moving all my s**t into my new house by 11am on Saturday morning (which I should), then I'll be attending.
I won't be following anybody there, however, since I know the way anyway and won't set off until the last minute as normal.
No...
I didn't like the look of 200's to begin with but they're starting to grow on me. It was same with the 197's and if I'm honest, same with the 1*2's.
However, on that last picture in the OP, the rear wheel arch looks way too wide and the wheel looks tucked under. I think it'd look OK from some...
I'd actually buy those and paint them the same colour as my wheels. Not a bad idea if you've got a 172 and only have 195 tyres with no rim protector built in.
Sorry to bump an old topic, but I remember seeing this thread ages ago and don't think I had anything to post in here at the time...
So... a filthy pic.
I was with elephant.co.uk (again, part of the Admiral group).
Their terms and conditions said exactly the same thing and mentioned that if you fail to make a monthly payment they will request the full amount outstanding including any interest that would have been charged, and will terminate your...
I don't think so. I'm moving house so won't have time for it.
I don't know who arranges these Cliosport meets, but every single one seems to be at a date and time when I can't make it :dapprove:
Yep. Apart from the oily effect front indicator bulbs and the exhaust recessed into the bumper it's completely boggo.
Even though it's standard looking I still want it to look mint though. I've got a few paint chips to get sorted and some new number plates. I also need all my alloys refurbing...
We'll get some videos up when it's done.
Why turbo your Clio if you own a Ferrari? Surely the excitement at driving something fast will have worn a bit thin on you by now?
Although... K-Tec's website suggests that it'll be running 300bhp and bring the 0-60 time down to under 5 seconds, so you...
It's only like someone putting the 1*2 interior into a 1.2 - it's whatever floats your boat at the end of the day.
I can't see the photos to comment on them myself however, since Photobucket are being tight with bandwidth.
For the "sleeper" look.
I want it to look more or less like a bog standard 172 with a big exhaust so that people in "superior" cars have a go against it and (hopefully) fail.
