I thought I better try and get some consistency between them in there lol.
I agree with what you're saying though.
But that would mean without the tyres, the 2118s would be even lighter still than the F1s. The 2118s have the supposedly heavy track tyres on them.
I had heard this before. But thought they were super rare. Be very surprised if these were though.
Maybe RSR are just super light and R1Rs are very heavy. Although I would have also though this to be the other way around.
Playing around with wheels this weekend. Though I'd weigh a few of the different combinations I have.
To my surprise the 2118s I have are actually lighter than the OZ F1s I have. I was expecting them to be a good few kilos heavier, not lighter.
2118s wrapped in RSR semi slicks. F1s wrapped...
Wow, this is turning out to be a serious complete Clio package. Love it.
Can't wait to see how things progress over the next week. Bet you can't wait!!
Very interested to see how you get on with the Brembos under OZ F1s too. x
Start it. Drive normally until it's fully warmed up. Thrash it. Drive normally until it's cooled down a fair bit. Turn it off.
Last for ages that way, unless you get an unfortunate failure.
Chaps.
Got loads of mold and muck in all the panel and window gaps on an Audi TT in the family. Any decent procedures or products to use?
Tried using a detailing brush carefully to poke in the gaps but some of it is quite stubborn. Don't want to stick a jet wash in there in case it does more...
Great car. Looks mean from the front. Not a fan of the 4 exhaust pipes, looks a bit over kill. Think a twin setup like the R32 would have looked better personally.
Bet it shifts!
Wasn't aware it was such a big deal. It'll just be to pass the static noise test. Any maybe sighting laps. I'll tell him to take it out once he's seen where the Bedford microphones are.
I had no idea about this. Causing the turbo to fail? My mate did a full day at Bedford with a bung in...
Looks so mean. Calipers look awesome under there!! Bet they're a very expensive alternative to other 4 pots people fit to clios!?
Did yo spray the car yourself? Sorry if I've missed you mention it.
Abbey Motorsport in Oxted. Top guys and really know their stuff. Recently did a GEO setup for me and noticed they have their own dyno.
Mainly specialize in big power jap stuff but will cater to all needs.
Yeah it's not an ideal situation. But to get it on a track day it'll be necessary. He will probably take it out once he's become aware of where the microphones at Bedford are anyway.
What size is your one mate?
That's right mate. Stupid tail pipes.
Bungs do look s**t. But it's only for a track day not general use.
He likes the system and can't afford to get a centre section welded in.
Anyone know where I can find this? For my mates Focus RS.
I've found up to 5" ones on eBay. But not sure how well it will work being a size too small.
Ridiculously big tailpipes!!
Pure Motorsport replaced mine FOC when it broke, because it was less than a year old from memory. Although I can't remember the exact details.
However one thing I would like to question, is what would happen if it failed and the loose belt then got tangled up and took out the cambelt with it?
