Only other thing I can suggest for the stationary noise is just the exhaust cooling down. The ping and click as the metal cools again.

Agree with this. It was the single best tip anyone has ever given me. Spray on, leave get blue MF pad and wipe. Done.

All depends on the driving you do. I do 7 miles to and from work each day, takes 20-30 minutes because of stop start traffic. I average around 23-24mpg doing this. The car isn't broke, I'm not driving incorrectly, it's just that s**t of a journey. If you don't really drive the clio much and...
