The washers are cheap so can't really beat trying them first before you go for solid top-mounts.... but I love my K-Tec mounts ;) My last mounts had a problem with the bearing seizing up and making a knocking noise you could only hear from inside the car, but it was on both sides. Worth...

Ahh, what if you have stuff in the boot, ICE installed or passengers (EVEN YOURSELF) etc do you have to count that? :o

Check your wheel nuts are all ok, and double check that none are cross-threaded! I had similar symtoms to that with 2 cross-threaded wheel nuts, leaving about 1 or 2mm for the wheel to vibrate when you came off the pedal and make a loud banging noise - awesome craic when they broke in the hub...
