New and looking at buying clio Dci

Getting a 100/80 with AC, you'll be waiting a fair while! Remap will always be better than a tuning box, plenty of info on cliodci.net I think it is.

    Loose wheel nuts!!

I remember Jenic having this problem at Oulton park, once he cleaned up the bolts from all the s**t/grease they were fine iirc.

    Mk2 Ph2 1.2 Project

Some decent photo's would help the car look ALOT better online I gotta say! Looks like a decent car, just keep it clean and plenty of meg's endurance on those tires having black wheels!

how do you remove the bottom part of dash ?

Just take the steering wheel off, takes 2 minutes. Plus then that massive thing is out the way.

how do you remove the bottom part of dash ?

Once you have the top of it's pretty much the 3 earth screws across the top, and 3 across the bottom (two either side have little coverings, there's another behind the panel between the drinks holder and the air con option stuff. You'll have to disconnect the heater pipes etc to get it out...

Afew pics from the run from KK's in Trafford park, some how getting to the Yorkshire Dales and signs for Kendal. Blurrrrry; Posting them is easier than sending them to everyone individually so yeah. Alex

    Friday 1st October - Trafford Centre - 7:30pm (ish)

Everyone will already be there about 8pm anyways so won't have much trouble getting people out. I'll see if I can make it nearer the time.

    My 1.2 16v Clio

Get a good set of coilovers, wheels, tires and spacers and go from there. I'll write abit more when I get on a PC or see you out. Set of 15" wheels - £200 4x T1R's - £130 Coilovers - £400/5/600 depending on what you get. FK highsports are the only ones I'd buy and get them new or from...

    New Member - Manchester - 1.2 Dynamique

If you know what day/time you saw them could help! Me/Jon was over that way last week iirc at some point. Get a set of coilovers and go from there with the Clio IMO.

Plenty of people around Manchester, KK's at TC is regularly where people meet. Average age is low, but iirc Jonff is around 38 so he rockets that up!

question for those with no doorcards but electric windows

As said just push the wires back through the hinge and behind the dash ^ Somewhere like the light control panel to the bottom left of the steering wheel of similiar would be my choice. I'm sure Chrispy has said in the past that you need both switches (pass and drivers side), for the system to...

    Replica Kit help

By both sides you mean the doors and 3/4 panels yeah? No I didn't pay that, just getting rid of the car and starting again. I'd be abit worried paying £400 for what is essentially a full respray minus the roof!

    Splitters

Someone has lol! Looks like half the size of the bumper, completely and utterly just too big. Jonff's Cup has a skoda one iirc and that looks good, there's no need to spend an extra £80 IMO just to have a piece of plastic curve slightly differently. Not worth vinyling a splitter though aswell...

    Replica Kit help

I know how you feel! Depends how they are though. Sprayed over your have to crack the paintwork to get them off etc. I pulled one of mine off in the past where the wing meets the sill, vertical shut line. There was afew different layers of paint. Depends if they were sprayed on the car and...

In the same position as you with the skirts thing. I got a reasonable quote for £940 to paint the bumper, wings, skirts and both sides.

    when can i thrash it?

I live 0.7 miles away from work, sadly perhaps? I still drive. Sod finishing work in the early hours and walking home freezing, amongst the drunks walking back from town.

Courtesy cars make you appreciate your own car.

Your complaining about a 1.2 Corsa like it's the bottom turd in the compost heap of s**t. They put a 3 pot 1.0 in those cars you know! :| You get used to it though, gearing is everything. If you know how to drive a small engined car (a Clio on coils etc atleast - Corsa's are underrrsteer..) it...

    Hazards flash with windows?

Mine do this, only the drivers side mind! Plus it's only when you hold the button once it reaches the top. I've had people tell me it's some sort of earth problem. Seeing as I found a gold/bronze earth screw in my drivers footwell once I'd guess on it. Birchdown said it's common on Cups...
