How the f**k did it slip if you missed a gear? mine used to bounce off the limiter all the time and had no issues.

So I was supposed pick my engine up today, f**king dumb s***s at renault didn't order the rite cam stud for the exhaust pulley! Ffs! I could really do With the engine this weekend to get get things moving! The guy at the engine shop said he has a bolt that will do it, but is this no good? Or can...
I normally use 5w40 fully synth.
But since the clio will always be up high in the revs (8000 rpm) and on track..
Is it worth upping it to 5w50 fully synth? Halfords do one for £32.00 and ive never had any issues with there oils in the past.

Sorted out the final brake line, covered the hole in the firewall, fitted the brake vac pipe and started on the heat shield tonight!
Bent the new line to shape and fitted it in place, once I knew it was right I secured it with a P clip!

I drove a 172 with a Quaife, It felt like standard, you knew it was they but feck paying 1k with fitting for that!
My Avanti plate diff was 10000000X better than the ATB one! Pulled like mad out of the bends and you could feel it working all the time! Miss it :(
theres 3 parts
two upper are steel
middle is plastic.
The steel doesnt weigh much, to get plastic that strong it would have tobe quite thick, so not far off the wieght.
