I'm not sure about the CD change theory, but the alloy wasn't an 'optional extra' in its own right. Some ph1's have it, some don't.
I'd write to Renault UK customer services and ask for clarification - if they reply confirming your reg didn't have one out of the factory then there's not much...
Complaining about something when you're not naturally comfortable about complaining is always difficult, but you know what you need to do...
Haven't got to be all aggressive, just take some photos (in case it isn't as evident when you get back there in their lighting, etc) and point it out...
Loads of topics mate so you're best off searching...
Basically:
Eibach Pro's - little/no drop, best handling and ride.
Eibach Sportline's - more of a drop, not quite as good handling as Pro's.
Apex - biggest drop, worst ride/handling.
I've had Apex for a few weeks and, to be honest...
Fair enough, does it actually do any decent correction, or is it more of a buffer? If you use it on a monthly basis, you'll be cutting through that clearcoat pretty quickly!
:( More expense.
I'm hoping it's not the rear as from what I've read it seems you may as well replace the whole rear disc (bearings pressed in?). But then I may have that completely wrong...
The risk of the silverline and other rotary's is that it's easier to damage your paintwork if you're a beginner. It spins in a set circle, thus generating a greater degree of heat in a specific area.
The dual action sander/polishers spin randomly, so they don't focus on the same area, allowing...
Noise that tends to increase in pitch as you go faster...?
The rear brakes were changed less than 12 months ago, so I'd hope the bearings are fine so I'm guessing it's the fronts.
How much am I looking, each?
Re: iPhone Q&A DONT START ONE QUESTION IPHONE THREADS. **POST HERE**
Aye, if it's locked and 'black screen' you'll get the slide (to unlock it as well), if you're usnig it or the menu screen is showing then it'll just be the two buttons.
So much little awesomeness, it even spaces the number...
Just what I saw and read up on at the time really mate, seem to be rated as highly as the Megs but slightly cheaper. Might be gimmicky, but I like the fact that it 'stores' polish in the recesses so spreads more evenly.
I've gone with an Orange and Black pad.
Sorry, the CS emails that tell you that you have new replies... I assumed your most recent post had been edited to remove the 'for sale' bit!
Hmm, might pm you!
My old Ph1 before I reverted to standard rear:
The tailpipes sat perfect up until my centre section went - never got them sitting in the cut-outs properly after that...
Better to leave standard or go for a single cut-out exit matey.
I think he's currently out of the 3.02 1litre... he does have 250ml kit, but it seems a bit silly to pay way over a quarter of the price for only a quarter of the product.
I've been looking at them on i4detailing mate.
To be honest I was planning on going elsewhere to buy the Menzerna polishes, but as there seems to be stock problems in most places, I've resorted to Megs 80 & 83 from i4d.
