They are pretty sensitive when it comes to tyres. The general rule is never to mix and match. Does it have the standard Michelins all round?
As for the noise, the rear exhaust heatshield can rust around the original bolt and washer leaving the bolt and washer in place but with heat shield...
Amen to that. I bet you guys don't really mind if you finish 1st or 11th (well obviously you'd prefer 1st)....as long as you are out there doing it and having fun.
Rallying is something i'd really love to be able to afford to do. I had a little taster of it a few years back and it demands so much more knowledge of car control than track driving does. My dad used to be a co-driver and compete in national events back in the 80's so i kinda grew up around...
Welcome Ian. Looking forward to seeing the process with the Cup car. Looks fantastic! How much did the car set you back may I ask?
You are missing lots. Thats been obvious for a long while.
Nice FIAT by the way.
Really impressive stuff this year guys. Its a relief that you can obviously both race a car better than you both Kart anyway....;)
Im determined to get along to a race or two next year.
Tony - see you at Brands I hope!
I'll be going to Mikes straight from work......thats if i manage to sort out the sodding bonnect catch on the Clio. Opened it up at lunch and now the f*cker won't shut!

I'll second Justin and say that the gearbox isn't that bad at all. Driven a couple now and neither was notably poor.
It really is a great car and handles like a Lotus should......its just the build quality that needs improving, although its not Europa poor thats for sure.
Advanced Clio you see. For the type of driver who doesn't simply stand on the anchors, close their eyes and pray that they land softly in a field of buttercups....
Trophy as in Ironing boards and Matt Wills? DO NOT WANT. Im sorry, but that car is forever tarnished in my eyes.;)
I must say Gave...i mean Dave, on the drive back, everytime you flicked on the interior light (to check how gay you look in it perhaps?) it highlighted (hairdressing pun) your neatly styled and preened hair. ;)
To be fair to Dave, you can't accuse him of being boring. Gay, perhaps, but never...
