I agree with you there. No doubt the standard setup well maintained is still very capable on the road. I thought about blowing the budget on B14s but didn't want to neglect the other components to do it.

That's why I went with Royal. I really don't like the thumb grips so wanted the smooth and more modern look. Was tempted to get blue stitching but decided there's enough blue in a 172 Cup already!
