Had this on mine.. The brakes where ever so slightly warped, causing a 'slow shudder' type sensation when coming to a stop, replaced my breaks and pads and sorted the problem.. try KTec they have some good sets knocking about on there, the Brembo High Carbons seem to be a good choice.
Hope...
Haha.. I think the postal strike (if its still in force) ain't helping.. I'm still waiting on my new insurance papers from about 2 weeks ago :S
Pull ya finger out Royal Mail!
+1
This is an awesome site! The tenner has probably already saved me £££ in doing things myself, including the brakes!
(the welcome pack ain't so bad either :rasp:)
Hi there.. by the sounds of it and as far as I know, when the battery is loosing charge it does tend to shut systems down one by one, but you say you used a new battery and still nothing, which is odd, because there should be enough juice in the battery to atleast give you power to start the car...
Things I've tried so far
Adjust the lack on the inner pillar, moved it all over the place but the best result still leads to a slight knock when closing
Bent the door down (as up would cause it to catch again) didn't really help tbh
I have also noticed (before I started all this adjusting)...
Looking on the guides I see this and it looks the nuts after its been done, definitely something I would love to do to mine.. I have all what I need apart from the polish he uses at the end.. Is there something someone can suggest perhaps that I could probably get from Halfrauds?
Cheers peeps
Perhaps.. but wouldn't the symbol on my dash to say a door is open light up? I tested the plungers on the doors and the light went out.. Any thing else?
I ain't that fussed, but its something that don't work and I would like it too :rasp:
A little update on this.. I went to a Renault Specialist earlier to pick up a new key, asked him about this and with a few clicks of the interior switch, it auto locks.. but then it unlocks about 1/2 second later.. he was totally baffled and so am I? He hooked it upto his lappy had a fiddle...
Nice.. I do like this HU.. Out of curiosity how much have you found one for price wise?
Anyways onto your question.. I believe these HU's do not have any attachments that let you use a DAB with them.. (I assume you mean an alpine DAB attachment and not one of those stand-a-lone units that plug...
Hear a second what mate? Beep? I have tried holding the button both ways and it beeps when I hold it down towards the Door Open symbol it beeps once, hold it down towards the Padlock symbol, it beeps once, I can't get it to beep more then once in either position, no matter how long I hold it...
Hey guys.. On a Ph1 clio how do I go about adjusting the lock in the door? I know there are 3 T30 screws but loosing them don't seem to let it move. Do I need to really loosen them? The reason is the lock seems to have moved (not the door) and its slightly catching while closing.. I have...
I think the connection under the seat is nackered.. not to sure.. Have a look on the forum there are many issues about this with the recaros and also standard seats.
Hey there.. Just wondering if someone can help me.. I think my car is supposed to have auto locking on it, so when I start to drive the doors automatically lock? Of course is this is actually on the Ph1's?
I have read about holding down the interior locking switch and I get the single beep...
:banghead: Doh.. Just found out that doing the Ph2 rears on the Ph1 stops the fogs working on one side.. How do I eradicate this issue, and will it fail an MOT because its not working?
As above people.. Both don't seem to work, not the bulbs or the units and not the fuses (that I know of there only being one for front and one for the rear)
Any ideas?
Cheers
