dreamer or what!
gone from a decat to sports cat. I actually think there is more power with the sports cat. Managed to spin the wheels quite nicely at top of second yesterday. Might have just been the ambient temperature though.
why would you want lightweight buckets and passengers?
If you were going round corners hard enough to gain benefit of buckets I dont think you would have many people begging to get in the car.
I have 12.5 now and mine is still going ok, whines a bit in reverse, but bites hard and now i have changed the oil down changes slide in perfectly.
Always blip the throttle, up and down....
My gearbox has been used for 15k miles now since the conversion. Not sure what last owner drove like, but I treat it gently. Might get a few more miles out of it.
probably not, but that will change if i keep the car and my license long enough.
260bhp last rolling road. car is full of crap all the time, i kept up with an rs4 recently, dont know if guy was trying...
from my first shite attempt at 0-60 and now i know how to gear change and use the power...
finished it about an hour ago! so around 4 hours or more.lol.
I changed all mounts and dropped the rear axle to get the exhaust out as I couldnt undo the exhaust clamps.....
Anyone want a blueflame exhaust? :)
cool. Well just got some axle stands under chassis rails and wd40'd all the bolts.
About half hour so far.lol. I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to working on new things..... took me 20 minutes before i was happy with the one axle stand.
Also notice that there is a sleeve hidden away...
I just gotta get my ass off the sofa and go and do it. I got all the bits, just cant be arsed....
Gearbox and engine oil change took me a couple of hours...:dead:
