bump old thread, I just paid over £7 for the sealing kit 6000073668....:D Now which way round do the parts go ?

check exhaust mounts, all mine are knackered and causing exhaust to rattle all over.

no, the instructions in there show how to do it without removing engine.

clutch is cheap enough, so may as well add it to the bill now instead of having to remove gearbox again to do it. they dont last long.

It can be done with the haynes manual if you have enough spare time.

I have just bought a janspeed exhaust and sports cat and need the clamp between cat and centre section, it looks like this on the left hand end.... It's a sort of round bung fitment. wondering where i can get the clamp today? Halfords dont have them. I think I'm looking for a part like this...

I was told that a 54 plate identical to mine (but standard) would get me 8.5k and that was from the manager at a dealers!

Only think i hate is the exhaust knocking on something, but that can be fixed.

as long as you have a cat you are technically legal. If it is too loud you may run into problems.

so is the pc that bad? :S

Just ordered a pc as it is a proven product as Rich says. It's lighter too. The udm looks identical to the pc, I'm guessing it was just an excercise in reducing production costs to boost profit....(but that's just my uninformed opinion)
