It was Dave, Paid 9.5K
I've got myself a new job and get a decent car allowance and mileage rate, so thought why not!
It was registered on 22/12/05 so on a 55 plate.
It's no longer on there now as it's sitting on my drive :)
52K on the clock, full BMW service history and is in immaculate condition - I'm very happy with it!
Not been biased as I work for the company, but try the Goodyear F1 asymmetric 2 tyre.
I have them on my car at the moment and really can't fault them, excellent all round.
A/C isn't switched off during summer months.
Comfort or loose a couple of MPG - comfort every time for me.
Take Sunday for example, the car had been left in direct sunlight all day and it was cooking when i opened the door (black leathers seats too). Engine on, A/C on full blast whilst i'm...
Good point, I had forgot about that. This is another reason for increased prices.
Fred, Toyos plant I "think" was untouched but production was reduced.
If you liked the R888 then I'd buy a set now, they will rise again in price.
Most manufacturers are constantly watching over the price of raw materials and they are continuing to rise.
The PS2 and the PS3 are both good tyres, but there are other premium brands that are cheaper and equal if not better in performance.
I have comparisons in front of me now from TUV testing that backs this up :D
From the testing results i see at work it's often clear the V12 is a mid range tyre...
Re: The car you wish you never sold... What were they?
Not saying this because i'm on CS but my 172 cup.
Sold it a year ago and wish i had kept it after i got rid for an MR2 Turbo.
If i was to see it now i'd put some serious thought into buying it, even though i have no need for it as i have...
from a personal experience i have to Disagree.
Got me out the s**te a couple of times, once left it in a tyre for a week and was still fully inflated when i returned home.
You mean swap your tyres?
If so you won't do it easily. If you were able to do it then you would have to go and have them balanced after anyway.
Go a garage, expect to pay about £20. You need a little back street garage, don't go kwik fit or you'll be robbed if they'll do it at all.
Need a bit of help please....
Been given a task at work and i really don't have the first clue of where to begin.
I need to set up a mobile text service for potential customers, I work for a large tyre manufacturer and we have over 500 garages offering tyres, repairs, mot's etc - you know the...
Decent tyres mate, repalced the Eagle NCT5 and the Excellence, The F1 repalcement is the Eagle F1 Asymmetric.
The main focus on the Efficent Grip is long lasting, low rolling resistance, less noise pollution an all round greener tyre.
The Eagle F1 Asymmetric is a tyre worth trying, Working for...
No chance mate. I could for my own use, but thats where it would end i'm affraid.
Have enquired about a group by with a local franchise who we supply, could do it but it would be too much hastle with postage, payment etc.
Thanks for the reply, as it happens it was changed about 3k miles ago.
Fred did the oil change, so have no doubts the correct stuff was used.
Same velocity oil always used to, 5/40 iirc.
it's annoying! Everything points towards the heat shield. Really odd that it goes at the slightest bit of...
Bit of a odd one, even stumped fred!
Clio 172 cup, when the engine is completely warmed up i have a rattle from it. It's not there when cold and takes about 20 minutes of driving before you can here it.
Sounds like its coming from the exhaust manifold area, but don't think it's there. When...
I've just bought the following:
