It depends entirely on how much money you want to throw at it, producing a flange can cost as little as £30.00 if laser/water cut from a DXF file for instance, however it would require a couple of hours work to draw up the vectors. You could then create another flange to mount the carbs...
No not at the moment - but we are looking into it :) Size wise you would need the area in front of the engine up to the slam panel, and down to the highest point of the metal PAS hose to the left (draw and invisible line across from that to the coolant on the right) It's tight ;)
Couldn't comment on the Mk1 compatibility as we rarely work on them - but knowing you lot I'm sure you'd sort something ;)
