I might take my rubber spacers off due to the increased height! I doubt they are very expensive ring up Renault and ask them to find the part.
Engine mounts arnt too difficult to replace - IIRC about £50 each?
The wheel bearings will need to be pressed out of your rear disks, then new ones...
2] Engine mounts.
3] Did you fit the OE rubber spacers on the end of the springs when fitting? if not then that noise is normal - just the springs knocking on the rear beam spring plates. Also the reversing thing could either be gearbox mounts - but most likely to be rear wheel bearings...
You did that in style!
Dont worry about it.... at least your alive to tell the tale. And at least you didnt stuff it on the track ;)
I rolled my VX on the road and wrote it off - I was gutted as I spent an arm and a leg modifying it.:(
Chin up - im sure you'll be on the road very soon.
OK... well if thats the case and that you will be using the Aircon pretensioners etc, Im not too interested in having the aircon pipe put back in. Aircon is for pussies.
Has he made up his mind on what he is doing yet.... regarding the pretensioner/aircon etc??? [cheapest option of course ;)]
I thought Yoz said that he was going to pull it out and fit a 172 Cup altenator and bracket so that the aircon pretentioners and belt does not have to be replaced. Im going to sell the aircon pipe on ebay [whats left of it! lol]
After having a big claim I can confirm that they will check every part of your car for non std parts and will get out of the claim if they can.
Do a search on that lad who had that Civic - stuck the Type R sideskirts on undeclared and the ins co didnt pay out.
