From my experience fitting seats to the 172 I would never buy universal, or made up subframes - as the floor pan layout is a nightmare. Asymetrical with diffeerent heights on each side. I got Imola S subframes from cobra and had to proove that I had bought some Cobra seats before they would...

I have bought Brembo OE disks and Ferodo DS2500 pads and braided hoses.

You can remove the precat yourself ...... Mine was ;) Next thing for you is a STG3 cooler and VXR Hybrid turbo, plus Nitrons, AP 4 pots, 16/17 setup, and R888's or A048's...... Exige slayer.

About 10 miles away from them. :)

All done - and tested. I raised it only 10mm and no scrubbing, and handles astonishingly good - cant wait to test the different damping settings. I'll update my Track Car blog thread once blog is updated.

Oh and BTW - I can get away with lowering it more than people with std 16's because Im running 195/40/ R16's - it makes all the difference.

They can go so low that the sump can touch the ground - FK's. Half way doing the rear now - its started raining :( Coffee break.

Just done a search looks like the gearbox drain plug is right next to the selectors - maybe that! Its useless really unless I look! lol I hate being under the engine part of the car though - even with axle stands and wheels for protection! http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=136347

Not sure - just noticed a covering of oil on the linkages under the gearbox. :( Im fitting my new suspension tomorrow so will have another look. I hope its the sump plug because Im doing an oil change this week - but would the oil run down to the gearbox if it was the sump plug? :(

Ant how did you sort it - what was the problem?

Think I've stumbled across an oil leak :( Checked underneath the car and the oil seems to drip from the gearbox [linkages] Its not loads but there is a small collection of drips on my drive. Anyone else had this - what is the most probable cause - and costs to fix? Thanks Chris

I have RR results to proove it works on a VX220. Like I said I would not attempt it on a FWD car. I have a BMC carbon fibre airbox on my 172.
