    Any of the diesel rep mobiles with circa 170 bhp will easily hang with a Clio sport once moving and on a motorway and there are plenty of them. They may weigh more but they can have up to twice the torque of a Clio. Other than that, as said, the Clio will be more fun and quicker off the mark...

    0-60 does not really say much about the engine. There is no go once moving, not a lot happens so 170 or not, they are pretty gutless imo. They are very smooth, however. I would go for a 330 if you can as there is sod all difference in the mpg and not much insurance-wise compared with the 325...

    Just to be understood, giving it the beans is fine when the conditions are right. Everyone does that. Anyone that drives like this all the time, through busy traffic or in dodgy conditions that put other road users at risk are c***s. So clearly, if you give it the beans all the time, you are a c**k.
