Mine does it very rarely, with a decat and miltek get the odd pop.
It pops its tits off when its just been fired up from cold and i head down the road, It goes within 30 secs or so though.
Standard shouldnt do it, Check your plug leads are on properly, Mine caused a backfire when standard when...
Clean it off with some panel wipe, No blades needed takes 5 mins to remove as the preclean breaks the glue down.
I'd get a blade in the corner and try get it started from there on the rears, Fronts pull the windows out
Re: Ben_stevo172 - Supercharged Monaco 172
Interested to know what wheels they are, obviously they are O.Z but what model, They look like the ph1 172s but they look 16"
Nabbed this from the FAQ this is upside down isnt it should be the other way up, I cant for the life of me remember as its been in bits all week lol on H&Rs BTW :)
I'd pay it, looks nice
would need the 1.9 wheels but wouldnt fit over the brakes and i dont like aftermarket exhausts on them, maybe a stainless which looks the same as OE
Stringing its just as good if you get it all squared up, take your time and take good measurements.
All the lasers do is fire a beam instead of string and show it on a fancy screen, Still does the same job  I would have done mine this way but..
A dont have the space
B havent got a surface...
Are the coilovers going to be used to their full advantage or is it mainly road use. If like me your a weekend B road warrior and use it to commute in, Take it to your local tyre fitting centre and have them set the camber and toe after you've set the height expect to pay round £40
fine to drive it, just dont leave it a while otherwise then you'l notice abnormal wear, It wont be a nice driving experience though, mine was allover the road
Is that the one that was in teh auction house or your own design?
I need to get live yet i tried to bid on one and was told i couldnt lol, I've managed to exchange my copy for another one tonight so now donloading the added content
Care to expand Fred?
I didnt want to go about stiffer springs and revalved shocks, just feel theres a bit of roll which could be sorted out with a thicker bar :) Would you go with just a rear one then?
You can use it for whatever you want as long as you have the appropriate air cap and tips on,
I use two GTis day in day out, One for base and the other for laquer and an old sata for primer, 1.3tip on the base and primer and 1.4 in my laquer, also have a small sata gun for wheels but it doesnt...
I was reading the post he did when he tested it for a magazine and he mantioned it can snap into oversteer a lot easier, My understanding was if the fronts and rears were upgraded it would balance the car out better.
The suspensions been set up too  Maybe i just need to slow down a tad :o
Only happened since the tyres went on and hasnt happened before all same size as previous? Bearings ok and no play? Shock will make no difference
Wheel on properly and is the spring actually there?
Are there any out there for the fronts of the 182s? As far as i'm aware the 182s run a 26mm bar and V6s run 28mm but the bars completely different as i was going to fit one of them :dapprove:
I've searched the net ended up on tweeks, larkspeed, Eibachs site, whiteline etc. Only to find the...
