Tried to get this tonight whilst out food shopping but the bint said come back at 12:01 when its released, I said sod that its only a game, It can wait til saturday. Looks pretty good TBH
Yes, doublechecked too as i was doubting myself, Just seems to have happened these last few days the knocking, and now been able to heat the spring twang.
Guessing this is going to cost me nigh on £100 in total to get them tracked back up after the new bearings gone on too, Just when i wanted...
Yes, so far. The plan is to change them for some solid ones in future although i'd hoped they'd have lasted a few more months yet, Its only ones side doing it :(
It cant be surely, I can her the spring basically twang when turning the wheel, as far as i can remember back its always the strut that rotated and the springs were fixed in the pans
Think i've got a boloxed top mount bearing, Just to confirm if i have,
I'd get a bit of knocking while driving and I'd hear the spring rotating in the spring pan wouldnt I? It also Creaks and hasnt done before
Cheers
Alpine CDE9880r is what i'm hunting around the bay for ATM, They seem to go for around £90 and match the clios trim a treat, been the same colour and the illumination can be orange too :)
Had alpine in the past and TBH i dont hink i'l have anything else
only 4 days left :D
I'l be ordering mine next weekend then the monies comes out of my account on Payday lol
Must get a live membership too this is going to be epic
Anyone know where the switch is for it?
It annoys the hell out of me when the rear screens full of s**t and youve got the front wipers on and you go into reverse :dead: scratching the screen FTL
Removal is an option but its solid needs to be cut off and i prefer it on ;)
Aslo will unplugging...
Yes you can, I did it when i was in the process of lowering mine, I said they'd be on at the end of the month, they said thats fine and updated their records
From what i've been reading on here i wouldnt bother with Compbrake ones, ASTs, KTR, and mark fish seem to be the ones to go for
ASTs dont require any drilling either
^^ I also noticed that the top mount top cap, Catches on the chassis when the wheel is on on full lock, I think this is the part Renault must grind away to stop it
Thread bump
If thats yours its loose lol
I have the same with mine but have found what it is, Basically i jacked it up and gave the wheel a wobble as i thought the balljoint had gone, Wasnt that.
So grabbed the top of the strut unter the arch and wobbled that, and got a bit of play, Whats...
