Correct, Shitty top mounts. Its the top cap that does it, I took mine off and stuck some grease under it, It stopped for a few days and came back then went away Presumably because the rubber had softened up a bit

Its normal to smell your brakes, Should give them 20-30 stops from 40-50mph to get them warmed up, You'l get green fade which is the resin in the pads curing. Its what you can smell and the brakes will become a lot sharper once youve got them to that point. Take them on a steady drive once done...

Cheers mate, You could probrably get away with some black silicone filled in to make it more discreet I was going to give it a try but ive got plenty of white but no black :( I bonded it on with some white :o and Screwed it to make sure it does'nt go anywhere

Yes jack it up and see which ones binding, Ive just stripped mine down Yesterday because tha handbrake was a bit w**k lol, Strip them, Clean them up, and use Lithium grease on the sliders. Theres a guide avaliable too if youre not too confident/never done it before HTH
