Caister, If its your dephaser i'm pretty sure it will sound...
I would like to know where this solonoid is so i can unplug it, Mine has since started doing this annoying tapping sound, and seeing 2 other sports drive by me as i was walking up town made me realise how bad mine is, It used to make a whiley / hiss (cracking description) like all the other...
You cant help it. Needs jacking up on passenger side, wheel off, s**t shields out horns out, Acoustic valve removed unplugged and hole bunged on manifold and in the words of haynes refitting is the reverse of removal lol

I took the number wrong first for RS tuning and got through to Leeds city council :o hey get down here and empty my bins lol
Simples, Scotch wing, scotch bootlid in and out and paint straight ontop unless you go through the laquer for any reason bit of primer over area flat back.
Bumper will want sanding down bit of stopper in big stonechips and wet on wet prime it (High build primer 2:1) Your bloke painting it'l do...
Get a bit of touch up on it then, If its only the edge, My other halfs looked gash and the only way was to paint it, Would have been looking at £90+Vat i reckon if i didnt sneak it in.
Is it on the edge and just needs a touch up or does it need blowing in?
Personally if it needs blowing in I wouldnt entertain a smart repair, I've just ended up painting my other halfs door because it caught a wall. Full door is the only way if you want it to look good
