    ITB'd Road & Track Ph1 Titanium 172

Re: Ph1 172 Ok I'll start with 2.5 and see how that goes. Collected my alloy bonnet today, rather light! Very pleased. It came from a car on here, X277 HAV

    ITB'd Road & Track Ph1 Titanium 172

Re: Ph1 172 Ok. I think its around 1.5-1.6 on the rear so an extra 0.5 should do? Or take it up to 2.5?

Re: Ph1 172 I'll just max it all out!! See how it goes. Is it worth getting more camber on the rear? Tyre wear on the back seemed spot on.

Shame they don't do them for the Clio

Re: Ph1 172 Believe it not I weighed in a powdercoated cup subframe...whoops! Swapping to a ph2 subframe would lose caster though wouldn't it? I can get 3.2 from the camber bolts and ASTs. Should be better than the 1.8 I've got.

    Updated oil pump relief spring

I mentioned this earlier on but the reply was this doesn't work... As you make the oil thinner you reduce the pressure by making it less resitant to flowing. So if you increase the hot viscosity you can increase the pressure. You don't necessarily need a 60 weight oil, a 50 might do but you...

    Good clutch

I've got the billet flywheel on mine, I think its great. Revs up better, slows down quicker and the gear changes seem slicker. My mate had a drive of it on the last track day we did and he commented on how much of a difference its made.

    Polycarb rear 1/4s

Thanks Mark. I'll give ACW a ring soon and see what deal they can do on a set of margard ones. They did me a good deal on my last car :)

Try again...you get a more adjustable monotube setup to the Bilsteins for a few quid more. And the Bilsteins are great!

    BC Coilovers

Didn't see it. And hardly everyone lol it's about four people. You get a similar setup to the AST 1 for £300 less. What's not to like.....waiting to get shot down now for daring to compare them to ASTs :P

I'll be looking into a set next year. Look forward to see how they go on track Mick. They're reasonably priced, monotube, have decent spring rates, damping adjustable and seem to last well (a friend has a set used daily on her Scoob UK300 for the past 2 years).

Re: Ph1 172 Saw the doorcards Dan made for his ph1 http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?644646-Dan-s-Ph1-track-fun-car-project/page4 So I've ordered a small sample of the grey foamalux in hope that it matches the interior. If not I'll get black. I'm on the lookout for manual...

    MarkCup's Fiesta ST

Saw a blue one today, looked lovely, although I fancy a white one. IMO the ST badges are too big, I'd be tempted to remove them. That torque curve is great. I bet you can feel it compared to the 200, especially considering the ST is 80kg lighter too. I'm hoping Catcams make some cams for them...
