I run the dubmeister plates. They are easier to read at night or with lights shone on them than the flat plastic ones. During the day they are no different.
I would be interested to know whether they have passed the bull-s**t standard by the manufacturer and not dubmeister. Afaik dubmeister...
That's your best bet! Doesn't have to be the quickest, just something you can really connect with.
When I was looking there were no cars close enough to have good drive of, so I bought the Ph1 blind. Enjoying it and it'll give me a couple of years of fun.
Meek_racing did make one, I was going to do something similar but I've gone all out for ITBs instead.
He got some good results, similar or better than RS2 figures. But the inlet runner length was longer than a RS2 or RS2 extra with the 50mm spacers.
Check my project thread. £21.50 posted for a good radiator on eBay ;)
Polo rad is too small imo.
In fact, save you the hassle of looking...Check out this item I found on eBay: http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=271272267343
Fitted mine last night, good size and plenty of room for itbs
I've run both. DZ03G H1 (hard compound) take longer to get heat into although the treadwear was the same on both they seem harder and last a bit longer. They don't need as much camber as the RSR.
In the dry, grip wise the DZ03G are very good and have a really stiff sidewall. RSR are good too...
Re: Ph1 172
Me too Andrew! Hoping to break the magic 200, get a bit more torque and a bit more RPM to hold it in gears longer.
Meanwhile I cleaned up the wheel I got from JohnnyE and got a Sabelt centre button too.
Re: Ph1 172
I'm getting the Ktec ones. It comes with everything as I cba sourcing various bits.
Then I'll get some angled spacers for the trumpets before mapping.
