Bit like the Staines meet....maybe its intentional...;)
I need to start getting back into the swing of things with meets.....hell i might actually start planning my first Run of the season....:approve:
I'll be along to this if the Staines meet doesn't happen that night.....sorry but im loyal...
Hmmmm....only about 25mins from me, with some of my bestest roads laid out inbetweeen.
I'll come along if the weather behaves.
1. white striped bandit
2. Fletcher + (Maybe GF)
3. peejay182
4. atouba
5. Ollie82.
OK so what options are there? Seems as though people will be scattered across South Wales at this rate!
Travelodges:Bridgend Pencoed, Cardiff, Cardiff Bay. Who's going where?
Hehe^^^^
Im waiting for the official 'Im considerably faster than YAOW' comments to come out.
At the moments there is alot of shadow boxing and reputation questioning......oh how i love the banter.
At this rate Llandow could turn into a massive wall-pissing contest.....so to speak.;)
You are completely predictable. I knew you'd pipe up, pipe cleaner boy.
I myself wasn't fazed about driving to Uxbridge in the current conditions. It was my mum and Clare that weren't keen....;)
Tom, schoolboy error. You should you coaxed him out with something like ' Ph1 172 in Harlow innit. Luv da graffix. We shud street race'
Im sure he'd have popped up straight away.
You need a mix of both. You can be the best driver in the world, but put on a snowy/icy road in a car with completely usless tyres and the chances of you not stopping in time or simply sliding off the road are stupidly high.
They aren't 'magic' tyres. Would you use knobbly tyres on a track...
I've got a set of Icebears on the front of my 106 derv. 155/70/13's i think.
I fitted them back in October and i have to say that are quite brilliant. They are very good in the wet as well as they just don't aquaplane.
I've not got stuck once yet. Its now our car of choice until the snow...
Seconded. Can you seriously be telling us that the co-founder of JMS can't do a track day due to a car park scuff?! Gayer!:rasp:
Anyway, you have to come and show some of these wannabe's how its done.;)
Well i live in the soft south which hasn't had as much snow and ice as the rest of the country, but my Cup is still alive and well.
My trick is to drive.....another car. With snow tyres on.
All cars are at risk in this weather. The ones driven by numpties, even more so....
I was considering a conventional wheel...but i like being different. Very nearly plumped for a Sabelt wheel but as the missus was paying for most of it, i thought i'd best not take the piddle!
Well i've had my Christmas present sat in my flat since the 18th of December. Was about time it went on.:D
I've got to put up with the Airbag and Serv lights being on until i get the other airbag plug wired to a resistor but it's a small price.
Made me realise how huge the standard wheel is!
I'd probably plump for a set of slicks and a mid range set of coilovers.
I like a pointy nose setup, so i'd probably not get along with AST's if they are naturally understeery.
Maybe im a bit ignorant of the finer point of suspension. Infact, i KNOW i am, but i'll drive the socks off anything, no matter how well or poorly its set up.
