The current head unit should have four holes in it push them in at the same time and it should release it, some people say use a coathanger but I got a cheap tool from Halfords that does it.
I got it the next day and I ordered quite late as well, as very impressed. I used whatever the standard service is.
I got the bracket as well as the rubber, before when it had gone I just changed the rubber by cutting down a bigger one but this is much easier and cheaper.
Can the fix only be done by Renault if it's still in warranty I presume? Mine does this and has only done it since I fitted my new grille which I had to take the bonnet sensor out to do.
What are you using now?
I'm using New Look Trim Gel and the bottle lasts for ages, you just have to make sure you don't put too much on otherwise it will sling off onto the paintwork when you drive.
