tbh why people dont just change the rad for the sake of £300-£400 quid!, the OEM one is tilted forward, has a bent bracket drilled in the slam panel and its rubbing on the filter. I think a few owners have been doing a bit of DIY along the way too, the wiring has been messed with (dodgy joints...

there ok, you would have compbrakes for the cash now though :) you get a two piece bell and rotor, bigger disks etc. TBF gdi price is from 2006!

changing the rack is a pain in the ass, could easily turn into a 5 hour job if you have never done one before. Do the MOT at a different garage, see what they say,
