Interesting comments about PC gaming.
""If you talk to [software] developers today, their prime target is the console first. This is almost universal. Then they spread it out to the PC. I don't think it was this way five years ago. This year they're starting to go to the consoles first...
Dunno about Stokeys... bloody chipeaters.... but at least you're in the right county ;)
Staffordshire la la la Staffordshire la la la!!
Look forward to hopefully seeing this on the A50 at some point. Although not for very long judging by the speed of it. lol.
Re: Sky+ Installation...f**kwits!
That's the problem. They're not engineers. They're not technicians. They're monkeys. My mate fits alarm systems for a living. I'm sure he'd struggle to wire a plug.
Why is everyone who uses tools an Engineer these days? AAAAAaggggggghhhhhhhh!!!!! lol...
So from what you're saying, if I put an F7 in my 172 it will go quicker with the same mods?
Can't see it. Like I've said. Forget the engine or the cams or the williamsclio standard. It's the weight that's the ultimate killer.
I don't think it's too bad - I only realise that mine must be heavy when I get in my missus' mk3 Clio and nearly push the pedal through the floor. lol.
Yup. Came up with t----...... but it did that when it was running ok. lol. I *think* that signified an injector fault but couldn't remember. Can't seem to find the thread with all the codes in either.
I actually told the RAC guy about it and he was like "That's a neat trick" lol.
I'm unimpressed with mine.
The screen is loose and wobbles when slid up for a start.
Camera may be 5mp but the pics are very average imho. It's very slow (about 5 seconds to access the camera which is an eternity when you're trying to snap something quick!) and the battery life is...
Fair enough. Sounds a bit of an opinion rather than fact though to be honest. And a bit ambiguous to boot.
Don't the F4's ultimately tune better for peak power?
Anyone in the know (engine tuners etc) care to comment?
Sorry to be anal lol but according to Renault;
172 = 1,110
172 Cup = 1,021
182 = 1,090 (effectively the same as the ph2 172 without a spare wheel)
Can't remember TROPHY figure, but it's lighter than a stabdard 182 due to turinis, no xenons, seats etc.
Yup. I'm pretty sure he was putting a TB'd 172 engine in a Williams 1 when i was there last. Would have loved to hear how it went when it was finished.
As always Nicks one of the first but doesn't feel the need to crow about it ;)
Right on both counts mate I think. The wings on the 182's are wider than the non RS models and are needed to line up with the skirts and bumper. I believe it can be done without them but not easily.
I'll give that a go pal, cheers.
I'd only been praising how well it had performed on the Welsh roads to my brother in law. Had the drive of my life on the way across there - gave it death and still averaged just under 30mpg. Amazing little machines really but it's the little niggly stuff like...
b*****d thing left me stranded in Barmouth (N.Wales) yesterday. Came to start it and got the the 'electrical fault' light on. Car turns over but will not fire.
Immobiliser light goes out. Checked for moisture etc in the relay/fuse box etc and sprayed some WD in there (was VERY damp for a few...
