For a good condition Cup, with the belts already changed, FSH, etc I'd be looking around £4k mate.
Don't write off cars with 70k+ miles though, I bought mine on 71k and it was in far better condition than others I'd viewed with half the miles. Just means it's lived (most) its life on a motorway...
Yup, as said above...
Ph1 172 were mostly Titanium, but there were a few Iceberg's made as well.
Ph2 172 were all Iceberg, including the 90 Cups.
All 182's were Titanium.
I've gone from a Ph1 172 to a Cup and I only miss the 'look' of the seats - I fnid the Cup seats more comfortable for the majority of my journeys.
I would like better headlights though, the Cup's a truly awful.
Lol, sweet. Better speak to my friendly MOT tester before getting it done to make sure I can drop the car off at his come MOT time collect it a few hours later, certificate in hand!
Just wondering if, for curiousity's sake if nothing else, anyone has put their decatted 1*2 through an MOT test to see the outcome?
Just how much would it fail the emissions test by?
Seems you have already made up your mind to be honest mate.
I'd be weary of picking up a car with the head gone - you have no idea what else is wrong with it and will need replacing in the next 6/12 months.
But, if it's a project and you're prepared to spend the money then fair enough...
There's some amazing multi-screen setups on overclockers - the only reason I'd make use of more than one screen would be gaming.
3 screens for COD FTW.
MMC is overpriced, the PH advert shows you that. Both worth around £4k in reality, less if the belts and major service haven't been done yet.
Worth going for a test though mate, but I doubt a garage will drop a grand. Sometimes it's worth paying a slight premium for a decent warranty...
^ And me. There was a load of permanent pen all over our white board in work. Some dear old lass spent about and hour colouring over all the pen marks with a whiteboard marker... it then wiped all off.
Worth a shot.
My renewal's up on the 15th and Flux (NIG) is currently the best offer at £350. The closest to that is Elephant at £380, with HIC (current insurer) wanting £750...
It seems that, overall, they preferred the Mini tbh. Yup, owned.
Ian: There are also various other RenaultSport Clio's that have been introduced since the first 172...
