I doubt the car was sat in a 2ft puddle though... would've thought exhausts are one area of a car to stay relatively clean and dry when not being driven!
On my way to rugby about 2ish and saw a silver ph1 on Heavitree road coming up the hill and then a white 197 (Cup?) on the roundabout by the services...
The ph1 owner knew what she was looking at in mine, so maybe on here?
Your 880i is as old as the 880i?
Cheers for the input, I'll get my time machine out and travel back 13 months to when I thought I'd do the easy thing and get an alright phone on a cheap contract...
But, surely whether I get handset only or contract, I still get manufacturer's warranty?
Fair enough, last year was my first with a backpack (always relied on the old man before) and it did my head in. I think it was more just the feeling of it being there all day long when I only spent about 30 minutes max actually taking pictures!
That example's way too expensive... probably £4k tops.
Plus, they have advertised it as a 182 when it's a 172...
Have a look in the for sale section here mate, probably much better value for money than anywhere else, as Cliosport prices tend to be driven down...
I might give SE a call then if it's 2 years... xzibit, has your mate tried to tget it fixed or anything?
Yeah, I updated the firmware about a month ago, if that, when I couldn't get into any of my messages. I don't have any 'operation failed' anymore, but it still turns itself off randomly and...
If you're down South then two other options are KTec or Prospeed.
Powerflow probably have a bit of an unfair rep, as they're all franchised. As the materials have been mentioned, maybe ask what grade stainless they use and ask for some examples of the person's welding before letting him loose...
Seemed a bit abrupt giving the guy a couple hours when he could have been doing anything... my phone is off for about half a day.
Hope it's sorted though, should be plenty of Cup doors at breakers that you can salvage to keep costs down!
Has anyone else had major problems with the W910i, with regards to turning itself off, the red light on the back, 'operation failed', etc?
I've got the phone on an 18 month contract, which started about 13 months ago (no insurance, so Orange aren't going to give a crap now, as I doubt SE...
Cheers mate, how long is the turnaround? When it goes into the garage I'll have a courtesy car as I'll need one for work. If I can't drive the car for a week or so then that could be a problem...
Could be connected, but there are far worse problems with the UCH...
With mine, it's mainly my wipers. They'll just randomly stop working which, when it's hammering down, is a bit dangerous!
So, do you post the UCH to them, they see if they can repair and then send back?
Some more info on how in particular they sorted you out would be good mate: did you go to them, or did they do something via postal service for you, etc?
I've got my car booked in to get the UCH sorted in a few weeks at a cost of around £300. Would be good to know of the cheaper alternative...
End of the day it IS still a Clio, albeit a faster one.
The RS's do feel completely different on the road and to drive, but if you're just bored of Clios and have driven a 182 and still don't feel any real desire to get one, then don't.
There are plenty of other cars around worth testing...
Re: I Just Got a Emense Deal On A 182
Trademark Cliosport positivity...
Well done mate, enjoy her :)
That many miles will mean you'll have to drive her a bit to get it up to speed, but everything should be as new. With that in mind, take your time running it back in...
My reg comes up as just a 172 on almost all insurance databases - I informed my current insurer that it was a Cup version and the she-monkey on the phone just said "yeah, that's what we've got".
As long as I'm making the effort to correct them, that's enough for me... luckily I've never had to...
