wastegate chatter is caused when the wastegate doesnt open enough to release boost pressure when throttle is closed(when boost is set really high). This is how I understand it. It's not a good thing and can reduce the life of the turbo due to the extra stress.
lol. I see loads of sports round here, non of them club members though. I think the guy i spotted was trying to race me as I overtook him.lol. poor bloke now thinks he has a slow one.
What would be the best place to fit, what size and what fittings are they please?
I was thinking of running along the oil feed line to the turbo, as i would only have to buy one extra hose then.:)
Not an easy fit. You would have to intercept the signal sent by the throttle pedal. Then using closed loop feedback you can control the speed of the vehicle, by comparing actual speed to desired speed.
That is if you have a Fly By wire throttle.
Get a turbo, I've just upped the boost to 12psi and fook me this thing gives you a kick in the back. Great for overtaking manouvers.
The trophy would be a good choice if you want a car that can handle well, who needs acceleration if you never have to slow down.:)
The V6 is apparently not as...
Let me say 1.5 bar seems like alot. Mine is currently set at 13psi, good enough for around 300bhp. My conversion can be set at 1 bar for 320bhp, but is really reaching the limit of the engine.
I personally havent seen any 2.0 clio engines much higher than 300bhp.
Also, make sure you sort the...
£42 a tank, v-power gets me 300 miles. This is the journey to and from my moms. About 30 miles of that towny sort of driving, and 270 all motorway.
Not bad eh???;) I can get to around a 1/4 of that if I drive like i stole it.
