I would like to here from people who have had it removed for quite a long while. I want to know if it can effect the paint on the bonnet as it gets quite hot in my engine bay.
Are the willwoods any good? I have been offered some. Also if you dont mind me asking, what did you pay, or what would be a good second hand price.:)
edit: I forgot to add lockwood locking tyre valve cap thingys.lol. And a black tax disc holder.
not sure. I think there is another connector block under the dash on passenger side on its way to the boot. It wouldnt hurt putting a big fuse in their, and a kill switch near the gear stick maybe?
Add on cost of fitting turbo, same as fitting a 182 exhaust manifold. Just cost me £300 to get my turbo manifold gaskets fixed.
I have a feeling that bbpt use these guys for supplying the parts as my short shifter is an MB engineering one....
just had a look. The tool looks easy enough to make, will do it at work next week. I also need to depressurise the fuel system, glad i read the book now!
I think I have figured out why car doesnt start first time....
Cleaned tdc sensor, so ruling that out for now.
Battery voltage is fine.
On start up the car struggles to idle, listening to the fuel pump, it was struggling to pump so i guess this is the problem. But after a few minutes it idles...
