I would like to here from people who have had it removed for quite a long while. I want to know if it can effect the paint on the bonnet as it gets quite hot in my engine bay.

As its the main line from the battery you'll need a big fuse and fuse holder rated for whatever ampage is going through there.

not sure. I think there is another connector block under the dash on passenger side on its way to the boot. It wouldnt hurt putting a big fuse in their, and a kill switch near the gear stick maybe?

lol. I took pics of the connector block and one of the shiny engine.:) The battery is in the boot now in a red painted fibreglass box.

I'll take some photos of the bit in my engine bay. hang on a bit.:)

Big fook off cable. Drill. grommit for bulkhead Connector block in engine bay.

Add on cost of fitting turbo, same as fitting a 182 exhaust manifold. Just cost me £300 to get my turbo manifold gaskets fixed. I have a feeling that bbpt use these guys for supplying the parts as my short shifter is an MB engineering one....

I think I have figured out why car doesnt start first time.... Cleaned tdc sensor, so ruling that out for now. Battery voltage is fine. On start up the car struggles to idle, listening to the fuel pump, it was struggling to pump so i guess this is the problem. But after a few minutes it idles...
