I wouldn't say it was a waste for those not interested or knowing of detailing, just may require a couple of hits compared the the likes of Tardis.
cupman, get a bottle and wipe over the affected panels with a microfibre, DO NOT let it dry, it will probably require a couple of passes then wash...
Do not use clay to remove tar, it will work, but that's a really fast way to making a mess of paint, and existing clay.
In bulk buy, Tardis. Smaller sizes autofinesse oblitarate. For the halfords shopper, autoglym intensive tar remover
More gear up for sale, waxes, wax samples, quick detailers, sealants etc

I've used the middle no2 polish and worked nice as a single stage.
The pink finishing polish seemed well lubricated as it wanted to just keep on being worked, but only used it on soft motorbike paint
Love the colour, but those black wheels are major fail and McDonald's street racer image.
Standard engine, I thought these were quite boring to drive so hopefully the little extra will will wake it up a bit.
If it is in the infancy of development, reading through the thread on DW isn't giving constructive feedback. Proper testing parameters should be set to give accurate comparisons.
It would have to be pretty solvent heavy to be removing a wax underneath. From the small instructions provided I'm surprised people are testing it over a wax and not a clean base to truly test its performance, seems a bit of a waste rest when you consider how much you get to try.
For a real...
Your car under a spotlight, from what I can see in your pics, would look far worse than the black mini bonnet above, plus you can still see swirls on the treated side.
If you think you can see them under poor lighting, in a well lit unit and sun gun becomes embarrassing!
Also having been in...
There is nothing better than the i4d uber yellow or PB luxery towel as linked above. Chemical guys wooly mammoth 3rd.
if you don't want to pay a fortune get to Asda for 2x orange towels for £1.50 as JD's thread
How many did you get?
I went in to check out their cheap MF's and they still had plenty but already have 4 after giving some to friends. Strongly recommend these if you don't want to pay out for the i4d uber yellow, especially at £1.50 for 2
Tripple will act as your glaze as it fills well. Some pre wax cleansers have oils that fill, so you may only need one. All depends on the condition of the paint as to which would be best to use.
No point IMO. the glaze / fillers won't bond properly over the wax, so waxing over that again will have an even shorter durability, therefore you will have this failing outer layer that won't resist dirt or water as well for as long as it would do normally, initially it will be fine but i highly...
Have you waxed over the top already? applying tripple, or working a basic glaze by machine will affect most layers underneath due to the cleaners or purely the friction with the pad.
What were you looking to apply over the top again? probably best to leave as is and maybe just top with...
That's the idea of it, but then so will tripple a little with it's very mild cleaning ability. you would use a pre wax cleanser by DA then if still looking for more fill apply a glaze or all in one over the top by hand.
Tripple being an all in one, it does work as a glaze and fills as well as any other glaze I have used. Only other factor to consider is the bonding with your chosen wax or sealant. Amigo left a very slick finish, but I wasn't overly impressed by hand, application by DA was ok. But for me if I'm...
