yee that seems fine,
earth connection from the battery could be dodgey,(therefore earth it yourself connect black jump lead on black connection on battery and other end on the starter motor)
could show you a pic, just im to lazy to take a pic,
you will need to cut down the bumper then line it up both sides to match, hard, jungle_jim on here did his, (in guide's section)

^ changed a alternator before Gem,
& im doin a conversion, were the engine will be out, fron end will be completly off, so i wont have any problems,

do it proper ? is there a proper way to do it ? so far mini-valver said 2 ways, i said 1, everyone has their own way, i find puttin a large screw driver straigh in (wont slip) as theres a gap in the caliper, then lever it, which is easy, and piston goes in, leaving you with...
Screwdriver aint pikey :rasp: it just easier than grips, as all you do is lever it back in job done :)
go back to your ironing and leave the boys to help this poor guy ;)
Will water pump pliers not damage the piston ?
best way i find is using a big screwdriver, leave the pads in just the holder is lose, stick screw driver between pad and piston and leaver the piston in :) easy as 1.2.3 :D
