The door handles come off from inside yea, 2 bolts iirc. Not sure on the glass, may have to take the seal off around the hole then go up off the carrier.

Black s**t, black cage with gussets, all the interior black, flocked dash all black, black cup racer style headlights. You know it makes sense. Probably be warm as funk on a summer trackday though lol!

Until I get a massive garage, a full time job and a decent car I won't take detailing all that seriously. I do infact like to be abit anal about it being clean though, but not to the point I will get to given the space/money/time.

I feel like a right r****d when people talk about using 2 layers of paint. I did near enought a douzen layers of primer to get some bits perfectly smooth/soft. Then 7-8 coats to get the colour perfect all over. Then 4/5 layers of laquer :S Bits look good anyways dude^

If I had the choice I'd just have a lowered standard car colour coded with tidy paint and wheels. No need for these big fake bumpers and side skirts. I'd rather buy a Yozza sport exhaust for a 172 than make a slow car look sporty and fast with RS bumpers.

Make sure all the belts are done etc for a start. Every 5 years or 70k iirc. Just the usual car stuff, exhausts falling off, bodyparts falling off and different coloured bits generally mean bad things.

I'm contemplating splitting mine and just going for a standard car, saving for an RS and putting the money on mods which will be abit more benefitial to potential tbh.
