I personally wouldn't rid of my PB now unless it was for a really nice 172 Cup (to drop my RS2 into) but that colour looks amazeballs especially when clean (which we know Lesley likes to do). Is all the spare time going in to this now Chip for Llandow?
As above, tacho is CAN so you cannot splice the SPA into the dash loom directly. You will have to take a feed from the ignition i'm afraid but it's both easy and safe to do so. Read the SPA instructions and it will tell you what wires need to go where.

Yes it could cause imob issue but its only on the lights circuit because its a common failing circuit when you consider how hard that little box has worked over the years.

A faulty brake switch would throw the system into safe mode and simply not let you use it again until thw ignition had been cycled off/on.
Most likely going to be the rear light pins as above.

They're not as bitey cold but then again they're not really for road use. That being said though, they're far from crap when cold to but I'm an early, progressive braker anyway.

Yes but there's checking for obvious damage first which you can do yourself.
Pull the connectors apart and look for any signs of corrosion (light blue/green oxidisation).
Cup looms have a few common places they become damaged due to Renaults poor cable management used on this specific model. They also have other issues that contribute towards throttle pedal related issues but first rule of business... never tell everyone EVERYTHING that you know ;)
