Decided to get a wriggle on with the front bumper project today...
It's currently cooking nicely over night now after being hit with Pearl Black and I cannot wait to fit it tomorrow.
Vikki... standard ph2 alloys now with some Cooksports or Prolines and it'll be perfect gal.
Welcome to PB ownership, cleaning it will be a regular thing
Re: Fucked aux belt/pully?
Then its more likely the marks on the belt are due to foreign object damage. At the very least I'd do a new belt and make sure the tensioner/idler function
Re: Fucked aux belt/pully?
Okay so firstly then you need to jump up and go look ay your setup to see if the spring is fouling the belt run. If so take it back to where ever the belt setup was fitted and claim under the 12 months parts and labour warranty it legally comes with.
The only...
There's no real right or wrong answer to this really. I have an RS2'd 172 running cams and a PMS silenced 2.5" exhaust and its perfect for me but if you ask Fred what his static noise levels are for the system you specifically want are I'm sure he'll help you out.
If its pure lack of noise...
Correct, when a "deployment" has occurred it stores crash context related data and the module itself is un-useable.
This data can be removed by someone with the correct software and equipment but it will not allow you to clear any data despite you replacing the blown bag units.

What others call "diagnostics" I call "conformity testing" as most places just like to code read where as I actually check all the circuits and systems are working and of not I delve in from there.
Date wise I'm booked solid I'm afraid until week commencing the 17th (I've got an unconfirmed job...
As Fred said earlier, if there's any movement in the dephaser assembly your timing is going to be wrong anyway. Just make sure you get the crank pin in the correct hole or this happens:
I'd take it somewhere to get it correctly diagnosed as a UCH fault before doing that... this is why I have a UCH with security disabled as a test unit.
Hazards circuit should work without the key in the ignition.
Did you conside4 the fault may be due to a fuse or something like a faulty switch? A common problem is the hazzard switch gets disconnected when people force aftermarket headunits in.
It'll either move loads or a few degrees but either way, movement = done!
Don't damage the locating notches in the cams though or else you'll never time them up again (like below):
Yeah that'll be 10mm and 12mm... you need the 12mm OD
I like the TRW units but they do sometimes need modifying with a grinder to stop them eating the ABS rings.
