Excuse my ignorance but what is that? A solid lifter kit?
Isn't that like thousands and thousands of pounds lol.
looks very impressive, even though I have no idea what it does lol.
Lol. Maybe you do have a proper freak engine then ;) But I would like to see it on the same day, same rollers with other modified Clios to believe it myself.
Strongest Clio I've come across is Jon's cup. 183bhp on SRR with full Milltek decat system, panel filter and RS-Tuner.
Not that 5bhp...
I'd say your figures are pretty good to be honest. I'd have been happy with 172 from a standard ish car. They all produce around 170 standard, but you do get the odd strong one.
@The Fatty Sorry to burst your bubble mate but those rollers are definitely giving you generous figures. You...
Re: Road/Track 172
Lovely update. Keep the pictures coming along the way;)
How much did the pistons set you back if you don't mind me asking? £800 odd?
what power figures did you have before with the cams and bodies?
Love these. Have a real soft spot for them. That one looks stunning.
Would someone be able to briefly fill me in on the specs please.
Why do people import them? Are they rare or not available in the UK??
Engine is the k20 right? Power 200bhp?
Ive heard JDM models are more powerful is...
You'll definitely notice a difference. I went for catcam 438s and although expensive they really changed the car. Would do the same again in a heartbeat.
Probably down to the awesome mapping skills of @Michael Woodford MST though too.
Interesting Tony Hunter thanks.
Might go for some DS2500 then. I won't need CLs on the rear, especially as I only have DS2500 on the front currently.
Guess they should be better than standard.
Not sure how much they're worth standard, especially a stone battered one lol. Have a little look. If it's not worth much might as well have a go at skinning it to see if it's light enough to keep you happy. I'm well happy with mine now.
The seats I've got had a leather retrim with white stitching, before my ownership. The retrim cost £500. No idea on how long it would take though, I guess that depends on the company.
