yeah they fall to pieces
the leather came unstuck on my steering wheel and went a bit baggy - new wheel under warranty :)
mine was on 19k and was about year and half old..
check your manual mate for instructions on entering the codes
you can lock them out if you enter it in wrong too many times..
as for the temp.. prob a faulty temp sensor under the passenger wing mirror. not cheap i dont think...
you can remove them from there mounting.. but cant remove them from the arch area or owt.. can move them and rest them on an axle stand and paint them there, being careful not to wreck the flexies.
dont paint over the bleed nipple!!

got a bullet cam (480 lines) with wide angle lens on it, microphone, suction mount with extra knuckle join for 200 ish..
then i bought a canon mv960 mini DV camcorder to capture it with (via AV in socket)
works ace..
comes to around 500 all in..
am in the process of painting the calipers on the fto
ive just removed the disc and then painting all that i can see of the caliper. then putting new discs and pads back in.
should be ok, doing about 3 coats of hammerite smooth finish.
i had to do loads of work for my mates ford KA to pass her first mot.. had hardly any mileage on it too. knackered wishbone mounts, new rear springs needed, suspension top mounts gone, etc.
a lad at college put his phone on ebay, someone won it, then he got a paypal style email with paypal logos etc saying they have the funds from blahblah and that they will be transferred to my mates account once he has received proof of postage.
so this lad goes off to post office, sends this...
