Its quite funny how the 2Eleven gets overlooked just because the X-Bow and Atom have more media coverage. I'd have a 2Eleven over both.
The R500 is a weapon over all though.
Joined the A3 Guildford bypass today at about 1ish. Youngish looking lad with glasses driving it.
First time i've seen one in the flesh. Like the back, detest the front.
Don't think i could live with the colour either!
Nice vid Jord! Good to see Nick hasn't lost his car control.....hehe.
But obviously Jord, next time you must be a well behaved super efficient non risk taker....you don't want any fingers wagged at you for your reckless driving in such atrocious conditions.:nono::rolleyes:
Is it definitely the Key? Does the red LED on the key still blink?
If its not the key then its to do with the receiver on the car. This happened on the missus' 182. The blippers on the keys worked but the car didn't unlock.
The cure? Disconnect the battery. Reconnect.
More than likely that you've pulled both of the plugs off the back of the switches as you've pushed in the HU.
Best thing to do is remove the HU, then unclip that switch panel above.
Then put the HU back in before replacing the switch panel. That way you can make sure the wiring doesn't get...
I've kinda resigned myself to the fact that they will only stay clean for as long as the car is stationary straight after a clean!
I still have the element of detailing tart in me....it'll just be the cleanest car ever to hand you your ass..;) :)
I still don't have the 4th wheel on yet! Still...
Hopefully you'll be able to see the pic now.
I know its not to everyones taste but i didn't fancy the generic "amphasite".
Black was an option i considered but i love the look of the 2118's so going white was close enough.
Well....erm....i suppose one good thing regarding the neons is.....give me a minute......you'll be able to re-tie your shoe laces really well in the dark?
Sorry, thats the best i could do.
Lose the tack, get back to the beginning and use Jords old 1.2 masterpiece as a template.
Have been in need of a wheel refurb for a while as one of the fronts (previously refurbished as well) had started to badly flake.
Decided i wanted a change and Amphasite was too common for my taste so i decided on a high maintenance white.....wrinkled fingers here we come!
Centre caps are also...
Well im gonna be moving further into the cun'ry soon and pretty much in spitting distance of one of the best roads in the south, the A272.
Random evening drives are on the cards!
Insurance companies won't give a courtesy car unless its judged repairable it would seem.
My girlfriends friend had a new shape Beetle that engulfed itself on the side of the motorway. As it was deemed a write off the insurance company wouldn't give her a courtesy car.
58k and my bumper looks abused. Bonnet less so but its had its fair share of big chips as well.
That'll be the high speed runs in convoy......Isle of Man and North Wales most notably.
