I've done about 4 sessions at Oulton on them now Mike. Always get the same issue, although it was worse last week. Pads still have plenty on them. Doing Donny on the 16th, so i'll see how they fare then. I'd imagine it's a bit less of a brakey track, so it might not be so much of an issue...
If you wash it you would notice rough paint/orange marks etc. Would show up loads on yours, so I guess they're not too bad then.
Cheers ;) Maybe dot 5.1?
What's the dust like off them jay? Not that you two are bothered by that ;)
Dave, meek was running the same pads with arches removed, and it's lighter (most likely part of my issue) and they were getting similar issues
Why about blue stuff Fred?
that's what I thought chris. I remember seeing your silver/orange car at Pauls.lol. Can't be arsed having to clay the car every time I hit the track. I'm swaying towards ds3000 pads. I thought you ran CLRC6 pads?
I'm coming! First one in about 2years. Needless plug but if anyone wants anything from my sale stuff I'll bring it with me. ;)

sounds like it could be lambda related (swap the pre-CAT one with the post-CAT one to see if there is any change), but hard to tell from what you've said. Tappety wise, the engines are naturally like that, but if it's really bad it will be the inlet (dephaser) pulley. Do a video ;)
don't use...
Belt will come off for it (something has to drive it ;)). Is this on a 1.2? Not sure on the cost sorry, but sports are around £250-300 to replace belt kit/pump iirc.
Add another few grand to that total tbh. You will pay nearly 4k without the standalone and itbs
If you could get the car to 850kg including cage, and run a good 230bhp minimum, you're pretty much there. Engine wise, you'll need high comp forged bottom end (add lightened crank/rods/flywheel to...
